An Introduction to Using VBA for Word for Math Education Applications

Visual Basic for Applications in the Microsoft Word context gives a powerful way of automating repetitive processes in MS Word. This website will explore ways in which it can be used for generating mathematics examples, tests, and tutorials. Unlike VBA Excel and, to a degree, VBA Access, there are a relatively few resources for mastering VBA Word. This website is in no way a substitute for such a resource, but it should get the motivated started in seeing the possibilities this language has in eliminating the drudgery of generating randomized, algorithm-based tests and practice material.
